In Belgium, in accordance with article IX. 2-26 of the Codex on well-being at work, the PPE against falls subject to an examination by an External Service for Technical Control at the Workplace (EDTC), recognized by control of lifting equipment.
But what is and is not mandatory? And is this inspection sufficient or are there other obligations? If so: for whom? And what in situations outside the working environment?
